Nielsonr (talk) 21:38, 26 June 2012 (UTC) I am afraid that the comments which I made about the oxide forms being more easily absorbed came from my distant memory of organic chemistry and the role which Chelates play in making iron, for instance more absorbable than in the metalic, or even the oxide forms. I found supporting evidence for this from my brother's correspondence with the gentleman who casts lead alloy type for the Smithsonian, who is required to get blood tests a time or two each year, but has never shown elevated levels of lead in his tests.[reply]
